In Camden,
. All schools are asked to identify Talented children in Years 5 & 6 for the PESSCL survey.
. SSCos are currently testing Year 6 pupils to identify their physical abilities. This process helps PLTs and class teachers assess the range of their pupils abilities and to spot talented pupils. The information will then be passed to PE Departments in secondary schools to facilitate pupil transfer. - click here for assessment sheet
. Some secondary schools are introducing assessment to Year 7 students this September 07. Schemes of work and lesson plans have been devised to deliver fun and challenging activities covering aspects of physical, creative, cognitive, social and personal talent in PE.
