I made the above “broadcast” last year when I was at the Micca Conference. I must have looked silly talking into my computer.  But it was my first attempt at making a podcast.   I was teaching fourth grade last year. I am now teaching second grade.  I am discovering numerous ways to use technology as a tool in working with these younger students.  With intermediate kids, I used the computer more for word processing. With younger children I am discovering numerous other ways of integrating technology, including the idea of the podcast.  It is a very cool way of sharing one’s writings or readings or artwork or even all of the above.   I hope to use this tool many times this year.
