Red16 Avid EDL Template*
* The Red16 EDL template works with Avid’s EDL Manager application and was provided by Avid to assist with tapeless workflows, in particular Red Digital Cinema workflows.
Use it at your own risk as it has not gone through formal testing. Normal CMX3600 EDLS can only have tape names up to 8 characters long. This template allows tape names of up to 16 characters in length. This works hand in hand with MetaCheater’s Red Options to track the entire file name of a R3D file as a tape name. Please Note: The downstream software that you read the EDL with may have to be adjusted to accept 16 character tape names.
