Earth Science is a one semester elective course that investigates the forces that shape our physical world and the techniques scientists use to improve our understanding of these.  It provides a survey of selected topics with the goal of increasing your appreciation of the natural world and encouraging stewardship through greater awareness and understanding.  I also hope that it will peak your interest and encourage you to pursue further study.
