An independent documentary film called Brothers at War may be about to change all of that. Brothers at War is the creation of Jake Rademacher and is the story of his journey to Iraq to understand why his two brothers, Isaac and Joe, are serving their country in that far away place. Jake Rademacher and his film crew were embedded with four American and Iraqi military units during the course of the filming and had unprecedented access. The trailer suggests moments of wry humor, interspaced with raw violence. Brothers at War concludes with the return of the brothers home from Iraq and the effects of their tour of duty had on them and their families. Brothers at War has been praised by critics as diverse as Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun Times and Connie Hair of Human Events. The appeal of Brothers at War appears to be that it does not have a political agenda, but simply seeks to tell a story. That alone makes Brothers at War something altogether too rare..... Brothers At War Premiere Weekend

March 13, 14, 15, Conor Colwell and I were on hand in Columbus, Georgia home of Fort Benning to capture the Brothers At War premiere festivities on video. (see video above) Jake Rademacher, Gary Sinise, Norman Powell, Dave Scantling participated in after screening Q & A sessions, autograph signing and media interviews.
