06/19/09 - BOTH printers go down within a week of each other!  PDF files will be sent to all subscribers to hold you over until the print version arrives.  It’s a big problem, but we are on it!

We just started setting up our next two issues, and noticed we are a little light on the kind of stories that we like to print. We know you've got stories - true or fictional - and photos of your dear rats that you'd like to share. So send 'em in!


You don't have to be a subscriber to submit any material to the magazine. In fact, if we publish your submission and you aren't a subscriber, we'll send you a pdf version of that issue for free.


So, send your stories, photos, drawings, or anything else rat-related to itsaratsworld@cox.net. Send it now, and it could appear in the next two months!

Welcome to the online home of a monthly rat magazine called It’s a Rat’s World!


You, the rat enthusiast, are the sole reason that we created this magazine all about pet rats and their humans.  You are the inspiration, the audience, not to mention the guest contributor and photographer.  Besides discussing health and care issues, we also strive to cover the pet rat community as a whole, including rescue efforts and pet rat conventions.


Although our rat magazine comes out in print or PDF to our monthly subscribers, you may peruse this site to find out more about what we’d like to do for and with you.  When you are ready to take part, just go to the subscriptions page.
