Greetings from Les Posen, and welcome to the beta test site

This is a beta site for testing new video files of dances from choreographers, videographers and others who love Israeli folk dance and want to see its unimpeded dissemination throughout the world.

On this site you’ll find an increasing number of dance videos in order to test out compression protocols, sound settings, video settings, and web page layout.

Your feedback on each page would be appreciated. When you do email, it’s OK to let me know your computer setup and location, and what kind of internet setup you have.

The video files are of a size and quality to take advantage of an increasing number of users with access to broadband speeds. In time, picture size and quality will increase as software improves and more people have access to high speed internet.

Each video page also has a description of the dance, and where possible notes about the dance, often from the choreographers themselves. There are also links to the lyrics, singers and musicians, and other information sourced from Israelidances.com. And there are links to source israeli music for listening and purchase.

Finally, thanks to so many people who’ve supported the resurrection of free videos; I have included links to make a donation to sustain the site and its future expenses, and to offer payment to the choreographers for their creative efforts via PayPal. Other means are also available by writing to me.
