Vegetarian Cooking Workshop

With Karuna

A three hour hands-on vegetarian cooking workshop that shows you how to prepare a delicious, healthy vegetarian meal based on the ancient holistic healing system of Ayurveda.

Ayurveda teaches that food plays an essential part in one's health and sense of well-being. In Ayurveda, each person is seen as a unique individual with unique genetics and biochemistry. Hence, what is right for each individual is different. We call a person's uniqueness their “constitution.” Therefore recipes are formulated using herbs and spices to help balance the constitution of each person.

Karuna Mayi has been practicing and teaching vegetarian cooking for the past twelve years. She studied Indian vegetarian cooking under master chefs in India. She oversaw the vegetarian catering for
international conferences like the World Parliament of Religions and the United Nations Earth Summit providing vegetarian meals for thousands of delegates from around the world.

She has also made an in-depth study of Ayurveda. She qualified as a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist at the California College of Ayurveda, the leading Ayurvedic school in the USA.

Karuna has combined her expertise in these two fields to bring you a course that will be sure to make a big impact on your diet and quality of life.
