Each violin that I buy

goes through a process of research and evaluation of the

physical and historical aspects.

Once deemed playable, I set

each one up and play it. I give

each instrument at least 5 hours of playing time.

are fiddles that I have selected

for playability, tonal quality, and a certain visual appeal.

Yes these are for the most part antiques and collectable, but they are meant to be played. I built this site with the musician in mind

  I also have a number of select violins, as you will see, that stand out historically and artistically as superior examples of the art.
