The History of the Irish in Missouri...
These entries are based upon the information I uncovered while writing the first book on the Irish in Missouri. While I covered the whole state, the largest chapters went to St. Louis, Kansas City, The Irish Wilderness, and Joseph Murphy who was the creator of the Murphy wagon. The book led to the creation of our Missouri Irish broadcast.

I try to keep a running tab on Irish groups in Missouri. Those below are taken from the ‘Missouri Irish’ Book which I wrote in 1984 and expanded in 2007. We welcome any additions and updates, which are constant in the community. I also note the Missouri Celtic Arts Newsletter which is online.
