The slide show above has a few illustrations from my “Missouri Irish” book. The song sung here was published in Missouri nearly 100 years ago.
It is brought back to life by noted singer and performer, Peter Reilly Adams.

More to come.....
Our thanks to Peter Adams, a central figure in the Irish community in Missouri. He has been active with nearly every Irish group in Kansas City since the 1980's. Renown singer, chef, and travel consultant. His prowess in song is well known on both sides of the Atlantic.
We have coaxed him back into the kitchen when he visits the Irish Roots Cafe. His sunrise eggs Benedict breakfast is a feast not to be forgotten.
Adams hosted the A.O.H. radio show for years. In the photo on the slideshow (left), Peter is accompanied by John Morris, originally of the St. Louis area, on guitar. We look forward to his next album...
