Expectations
My expectations are for students to be
kind polite thorough

My goals as a teacher are for my students;
-to feel legitimately good about themselves.
-to have a respect for learning.
-to be successful in their life’s endeavors
-to spend their energies on learning, not on misbehavior.

HOW I RUN MY Class
1. I will treat you with respect, so you will know how to treat me.
2. Feel free to do anything that doesn’t cause a problem for anyone else.
3. If you cause a problem, I will ask you to solve it.
4. If you can’t solve the problem, or choose not to, I will do something.
5. What I do, will depend on the special person, and the special situation.
6. If you feel something is unfair, whisper to me, “I’m not sure that’s fair,” and we will talk.

Quality Work and Tuesday Make-ups
Honor due dates as points will be deducted based on lateness. I am available for make-ups on Tuesdays. I am available most days yet I have found if I have one day that students focus.

Assignment Board; All previous assignments are listed there so if you were absent you may check what is missing or use the internet at www.mygradebook.com.

2CNs = Success in Science
Two Column Notes are assigned before starting a Lab. It is very important to do the two column notes before the lab to have a beginning understanding of the concepts involved.

BlogHW & QUIZLAB will not be accepted after the due date.

Tuesday Lab Make-Ups 3:00-4:00
If you are absent from a lab you must make the lab up afterschool within ONE week. Make-ups are Tuesdays 3-4:00, the 4:00 afterschool bus is available. These Tuesday’s are very important if you were absent for a lab during the previous week. Labs are kept viable for only one week. Chemicals degrade, supplies are limited plus there isn’t space to keep all labs out and ready so please come to the Tuesday make-up sessions.

If you choose not to make-up a missed lab then a zero will be assessed. By making this choice your grade will be dramatically affected since 80% of your grade is based on what you are in charge of; labs and homework.

Tardies; Two free tardies per nine weeks. Tardies thereafter reduce your hall passes.

I am available afterschool Tuesday for assignment completion.

I grade all paper assignments turned in on time and late papers by Tuesday for assignments of the previous week. Remember you have one week to make-up labs and assignments.
