That was what Matt was obviously thinking this weekend when he pulled out his own trach tube.  After that the nurses decided not to put it back in because when they were talking about it Matt gave them the dirtiest look.  He did great all weekend and will not have to have a trach tube anymore.  He is breathing fine on his own and is making leaps and bounds in his recovery every day.  Keep sending him your positive thoughts.
