Hi Everyone-

I just received a note from Mario so I thought I would update everyone on Matt.  Mario said the doctor agrees that Matt is making progress and that we should keep up our routine of stimulation by talking to him, etc.  

 

The doctor also said it would be good to have splints on Matt’s arms when he sleeps at night to ensure that they stay loose so that the muscles do not constrict too much.  So if you go and see him that is what those are.  What was neat was that when they were casting him he kept itching his hands.  No one has ever seen that before so it showed the docs how much he is responding to stimuli around him, such as itchy fiberglass on his skin.  Matt also sneezed the other day.
