I’m now on my THIRD iPhone. The first two went back within a week of each other, because I couldn’t hear any sound from the external speaker. The only way for me to know if a call was incoming was to either a) have vibrate mode on b) see the screen light up or c) have the earbuds on. Sooo, I truck it back to the Apple Store’s “genius bar” where I wait for them to run their software diagnostic routine, only to deduce that I need a new one. They pop my SIM card into a new one and send me on my way. Since it already has my info, it’s just a matter of sync-ing it up again with my iTunes and I’m up and running again. Not a total drag, but still an inconvenience. Apple said I can play this game as long as their engineers continue to deem this a problem .. I know I’m not the only one.

It’s still pretty though. I’m now ripping lots of DVD movies for it for some upcoming trips. (I’ll post about them! Promise!)
