On June 2nd. 2009, ERASE Racism observed its Fifth Annual Benefit, A Common Thread: Celebrating People of the African Diaspora. In addition, ERASE honored Suzy D. Sonenberg, Executive Director Long Island Community Foundation (LICF), with the Abraham Krasnoff Courage and Commitment Award.
