BeBe Brunswick is a 23 year old native of Charleston, SC, raised in Miami, FL. She is a recent graduate of Florida A&M University. While in Tallahassee, FL she performed in such roles as Lady in Purple in ‘for colored girls who have considered suicide/when the rainbow is enuf’, the title role in ‘Antigone’, Elmire in ‘Tartuffe’ and many more. She is delighted to have this wonderful production be her first foray into the world of film and television.

Daniel is a graduate of Yale University, having received degrees in both Theatre and Psychology. For the past decade he has performed in film, television, national theatrical tours, regional theatres and cabarets throughout the country. Some of his favorite credits include, FILM: “The Thomas Crown Affair,” “Something’s Gotta Give”, “The Wedding Singer;” TV: “Our Father” (ABC movie), “Lateline,”(NBC Sitcom), “Passions,” “Days Of Our Lives;” THEATRE: Stephen Sondheim’s Anyone Can Whistle (West Coast Premiere), Dorian…The Musical (World Premiere), Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey II – Utah Shakespeare Festival), Six Degree of Separation (Los Angeles), and West Side Story. Daniel relocated to Florida a few years ago to “take a break from acting, change gears a bit, go to graduate school and watch the palm trees bend in the wind.” Now, as a cast member of “The Lovers & Friends Show,” he is happy to be back in front of the camera again, where he belongs, and would like to thank Chay, Christy and Insyte Productions for including him in on this crazy, fun ride.

I worked with Michael Winslow from Police Academy and actor Bob Carter from It’s All About The Benjamins in Movie “ A VETERAN AFFAIR. It premiered in October 2007. I have worked with The Vinette Carol Repertoire from New York. Produced, directed and wrote my own musical using three High schools from Broward and Dade County, Florida. The title of the play was He Was Hung Up For Hang Up’s. It won international exposure with the Churches of God . My motto is. LET ME TAKE YOU 2 THE OSCARS!!!!!!!
Television:
I submitted a reporting/newscaster tape of me at Joes’s Crab Shack and won the honor of being one of the 7 finalists in the contest So You Thank Can Deco? contest on WSVN Channel 7 in 2007. I also made the Sun Sentinel News for the Channel 33 My Network contest. I was ranked number 1 in the ratings for my female role.
Commercials:
I was honored to be in the advertisement campaign for the Broward County Schools Credit union in 2007. They used my photos in their Newsletters and postcards.
Modeling:
During my elementary and high school years, I participated in several fashion shows in the South Florida area. About 5 years ago, at the Port of Miami, I modeled in the Africando International Time Show.
Training:
I have a degree in Communications. I was trained in theater with the late Vinette Carol Repertoire, from New York. I am also a certified Speech and Language Therapist, for Broward County Schools in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I received my vocal training from Barry Smith, from the Broadway Play Bubbling Brown Sugar. I also worked with producer Clarence Reed who worked artist Betty Wright ,Casey And The Sunshine Band.
Special Skills:
I’m an outstanding soloist, lyricist, play write and actress. My compelling and strong voice has open doors for me to grace entertainers like Andre Crouch, The Winans, Shirley Ceasar, Jonathan Slocum, Attor. Willie Gary and more. I’m a member of ASCAP and has won the Popular Award Contest for many years. My travel has taken me to the high styles of London and Paris. To the sunny beaches of the Bahamas .
Henri Brissett
Marlaina has a love for all things artistic.
Her artsy side has always been present. She would use all of her free time to draw when she was young. In the 90s she watched instructional shows for better creative development.
Her interest in the performing arts began when she attended Harbor Junior High School for Performing Arts, where she sang alto in a chorus that traveled and performed both, live and acappella, at renowned places such as Radio City Music Hall, The Waldorf Astoria, Good Morning America and more. Tichina Arnold from Martin, and R&B songstress Monifah also got their start from this school.
Marlaina grew up in the projects of Harlem, NYC. Wanting to avoid a troublesome future, she chose to further her education at The University of Miami after graduating from Manhattan Center for Science and Math in 1999.
At UM, she attained her Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering in 2004.
In her spare time, Marlaina enjoys dining-out, being anywhere outdoors when it’s not too hot, playing tennis, bike riding, studying, shopping, cooking, eating ice-cream, working out, or reading outdoors.
In general her passions rest within, music production, creative writing, fitness\nutrition, traveling, photography\fashion, or anything investigative.

Henri Brissett is an African American actress by way of Jamaican parentage. Her passion and love for writing and acting has taken precedence over everything in her life. Henri began to actively pursue acting during the summer of 2006. It began with an acting workshop class. Since then she has taken on back to back projects that have kept her busy through the entire year of 2007. Henri is currently working on a screenplay which she plans to use to open the door for Caribbean’s on American Television. Henri is a wife and mother of three. She resides between the states of Florida and New Jersey. Henri’s motto is “a person starts to live when he can live outside himself” by Albert Einstein.
Tamar Sabb is an African-American model/actress. Her passion lies within all things cultural and creative. With a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from F.A.M.U., it was only natural for Tamar to dabble into the entertainment industry. Credits include 2nd AD for Going Forward Films Zombies Fighting Soccer Moms, Director and Producers PA for Flyte of the Dragons Films Fatal Suspicion. It wasn’t soon that the ‘bug’ moved her from behind the scenes to the front. Tamar has been an extra for the Menudo Music Video ‘Every Little Step I Take’ and for the Indie Film A+. Tamar has acted in various instructional videos for CPR training and most recently the part as Deidra in the captivating internet TV Show Lovers N Friends. Model credits include being a WHO girl for WHOGOTTHEHOOKUP.com, Demo model for various hair and skin care products and a Horny/Flash energy drink girl.

Kisha Jocelyn is a Haitian American, 23yr old, Aquarius, born and raised in Miami, Fl. From childhood she always dreamed of being a star. Acting, music, and modeling were her destiny. Being obese growing up, she was told she wouldn't make it. At 19 she decided to make a change. She worked hard and lost 80lbs so she could fulfill her dreams. She is now with Image modeling agency pursuing furthering her career as a serious triple threat. She has done fashion shows, music videos, and much more. Be prepared to see this future star she plans on taking the world by storm.
Hollissia Holloway plays Holloway
She was born and raised in the sunshine state which is Florida. Now to be more specfic she's from the downsouth part: Broward, Dade, and Palm Beach. She was born April 02, 1983, and to be her age, she feels that she has alot of understanding for who she is. In 1997, she had a idea that she was interested in women, by 1999, It was very clear to Holloway that it was a love and passion for women, even more importantly she was extremely comfortable with the fact that she was and still is a BUTCH. Considering the fact that she was blessed to be raised by both her parents she admired her father's dominate aggressive ways, and with her being a tomboy, it just worked perfectly. Holloway is the only child, so throughout the years of independence, she grew and adapted her own style as a dominate aggressive woman.
Holloway graduated Piper High School in the year 2001. After that, she attended trade school for Building Repair and Maintenance as well as Warehouse and graduated in year 2003. She also had the priveldge of attending Broward Community College after receiving a scholarship as a walk on basketball player. She didn't accomplish a degree, but she did go out and use her intelligence to get a very stabled career and that was with the City of Boca Raton. She's still a member there as well as works at a highly respected autobody shop. She loves her jobs, but her long term goal is to reach the Entertainmrnt/Theatre industry. So she's with Insyte Productions to get a head start, learn, experience, exposure, and to get her passion feed.
Miami native, Marquita Whittingham is an actress from Jamaican and Bahamian descent whose love for acting began in 2001 when she starred in her first production titled "Juicy". With an extensive background in dance and music, Marquita had the opportunity to perform in local theatre productions of "42nd Street" and "Dreamgirls". Her newest venture has brought her to the cast of "Lovers and Friends" where she plays the feisty, love crazed character, Tiana which she finds a pleasure to star as. In the future, Marquita plans to continue to her passion of performing and aspires to perform in mainstream musicals as well as act on film.

Bobby Tinoco Born in Plantation Florida first caught the acting bug as an extra in a Film Directed By Barry Levingston named "Liberty Heights". He also does Modeling for local buisnesses, and some commercial voice over work. He plans on perfecting his acting technique through classes and on screen experience an is looking forward to his big break in the industry. He woulld like to thank his family and freinds for the great support and words of encouragment.
Christy Rodriguez is elated to rejoin the Insyte family to work on such a thrilling project. Previous film credits include “Elvis Stood Us Up” and “Psychobabble”, which was awarded the 2003 Miami Film Festival’s Best Comedic Short. Christy was last seen in Charmain Johnson’s “Pieces of a Love Affair.” Having received her BA in theatre from the University of Florida, Christy has had the opportunity of honing her craft on stage in such memorable roles as: Eddie/Dr. Scott in “Rocky Horror Picture Show Live”, Marty in “Grease”, Dracula in “Dracula”, Winnie in “Annie Get Your Gun” and many more. Christy Rodriguez was also privileged to study at the London Globe theatre where she focused on voice and movement. Her desire to evolve creatively and share her passion has blessed her with the opportunity to Assistant Direct “Lovers and Friends”, an honor she dared not pass up!

Born in Florida, Kendal Starr has had a passion for the performing arts for quite some time. At the age of 5, she sang her first solo during her Kindergarten graduation ceremony. At 12, she became the choir director for the youth choir at her church. During high school, she was a member of her school’s Chamber ensemble, and won many awards due to her craft. Kendall Starr followed a musical path until high school graduation. In 1999, Kendall began her college career at the University of Florida, majoring in Sociology. While in college, Kendall held many odd jobs; she was an interior decorator, cashier at a popular supermarket, bartender, and an administrative assistant. After graduating college in 2003, Kendall moved back to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to pursue a career in education. In 2007, Kendall Starr began to explore her 2nd passion: writing. It was her desire to create a lesbian fiction novel that led her to contact Lovers and Friends producer, Charmain Johnson. Although she was hoping to assist with the development of the script, Kendall was asked to audition for the role of Lisa Blackwell. The rest is history!

Nicole Pina was born in Dominican Republic September 15, 1980. To a great family of artist, her dad a well known architect, her uncle a famous artist and her grandmother a powerful well respected clothing designer. She grew up in the beautiful city of Santo Domingo, were inspiration is bountiful with its natural wonders, beautiful landscapes and romantic sunsets. Since her mother was a professional model, she spent most of her early childhood traveling from New York to Santo Domingo living with her grandparents. Which explains Nicole’s humble, patient, respectful nature. Her middle school years she lived in Boston and began to appreciate the underground scene of artist that thrived in the city. Going to art galleries and teaching after school art classes, helping the children in the community appreciate the arts. When Nicole turned the age of 13 her family moved to Florida. Finally she had a place she felt she identified with. Allured by the all the mixed cultures , and all the different ways Miami surrounded itself in all different forms of art, she found herself embraced by the gay and lesbian community she related to. She lives in fort Lauderdale today and was lucky enough to be able to walk into the right place at the right time, and now joins the cast members of Lovers and Friends in the most amazing experiences of her life while trying to make history.
Nicole Pina plays Tori
Martina was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and currently lives in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. Martina is a self-taught Vocalist who has been singing since she was very young. She grew up listening to her mother, Carolyn, sing songs by various artists such as Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette, Elvis Presley, and Dolly Parton. Unfortunately, Martina lost her mother at the age of 12 and she grew up without a Father. Her fondest memory is singing karaoke with her mother. Before her mother passed, Martina wrote her first song entitled "Carolyn", which she hopes to add on an album.
Martina was a Musical Theater Major at the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma. She has performed in Musicals such as "A Little Night Music", "Fame", "Bigger Isn’t Always Better," and Guys and Dolls. Currently, Martina is the lead female singer in The Original Rock Band “Dark Star Revolt.” Martina has performed at places such as the Ritz Carlton, The Floridian, Boca Hotel Beach Resort, The Stewart Center, Palm Beach Convention Center, Kocomo’s Island Grill, Cheers, Clamster’s, Briny’s Irish Pub, Octopus Gardens, Mr G’s Rock and Roll Club, Sally O’Brien’s, Al House, and Porterhouse.
In 2006 Martina had the honor of performing with the Godfather of Soul himself, “James Brown”, at the James Brown Soul Music Festival in Augusta, Georgia. Martina was also flown to LA as a Semi Finalist and one of the top 50 contestants in the nationwide search for the next “Pussy Cat Doll.” In 2007 Martina made it to the Semi Finalist for MTV’S Reality Show “The Real World,” and was a Contestant for American Idol.
Martina’s passion and love for music is seen every time she steps foot on stage. She has an incredible stage presence and her versatile voice captivates you and leaves you wanting more! Currently, Martina is working on her original music. Her ultimate goal is to give others a positive perspective on life. Martina wants her music to give people the strength to overcome adversity and never give up hope.
