london visit - en route to india

On our way to Bangalore, we rested in London. An expensive rest but well worth it to see our friends the Lauritsens. They were spectacular hosts - even treating us to a homemade thanksgiving feast in their flat in st. john’s wood. We ate through the irony and enjoyed turkey, sweet potatoes baked in the oven, stuffing right from the turkey’s insides and fantastic gravy. The apple crisp was also lovely. We took the kids to paddington park and played on the zip cord. Natalie and Berkeley and Ian and Atticus played well - even joining together for a dance party on the last night. There were some kid breakdown moments shared by both families but overall it was a great time. And it still didn’t rain while we were there. We are three for three.
