Yet another great event for some of our Ogichidaakweg artists.  Jenna Porter, Breaenne Porter (Nett Lake Village) Brandi White (Kego Lake VIllage), Breanna Miettinen, Kristen Bryan, Margaret Charwood (S Lake Village) Nicole Staples, and Trisha Michaud (Cass Lake) were all present at an open house hosted by the Blandin Foundation to honor the Ogichidaakweg Exhibit.  The artists met with members of the local community to visit and speak about their work.  It was especially impressive to have representatives from each of our Ogichidaakweg sites attend this opening as everyone travelled 45 miles or more to be at the event.  Special thanks to Gary Rosato and Paula Krueger for helping with the coordination efforts and making us all feel welcome!  To see photographs from the Ogichidaakweg exhibit and the open house just CLICK HERE!  Also:  please note that this exhibit will be up through August 2008.  If you get through Grand Rapids, we hope you will check it out!
