S Lake Minnesota is located on the northeastern corner of Leech Lake Nation.  The village is home to less than 100, but often sees it’s population grow during the summer tourist season.  In the midst of vacationers and sportsmen can be found the local community center and a group of young artists, all working to photograph their community, their traditional practices and their families.
