in progress - four directions charter school

  1. Four DIrections Charter School was established as a Charter School in 1999 but the school has been operating as an alternative education program since 1990.  Artist and In Progress executive director, Kristine Sorensen has been there since 1991, working with students and staff to coordinate digital storytelling activities.  Now, after more than fifteen years of programming, the Four Directions Charter School has an amazing media arts curriculum model that stands as one of the Federal Government’s Best Practices Programs.  Below are listed an array of works that show some of the very best of what this school has accomplished.

  2. The 2008 schedule includes work with approximately 100 students from the 8th - 12th grades.
