  1. In Progress strives to provide as many opportunities as possible for its young artists to travel and connect with other professionals and media organizations.   Though this component of artist services is conducted informally with no designated funding pool, we consider it a core aspect of artist development.  Often supported through our general operating funds or through the generosity of individual contributors, this program annually provides 3-5 In Progress artists opportunities to travel and attend conferences, film festivals or just visit with key people that will further their development as artists.

Over the past few years, In Progress artists have traveled to Seattle, New York, Los Angeles, Laos, Thailand, Arkansas, China and more.  Sometimes they are able to raise grant monies, while other times, In Progress strives to work with them to make an important travel opportunity happen.
