In Loving Memory of Alivia Haughery
Yesterday, I had the privilege of going to a Memorial Service for Alivia Haughery. Please pray for James and Emily Haughery (members of our sister church, Crossway Church of Lancaster) and for their families also as they go through this very tragic time.
Below is a brief summary of Alivia’s life written by her parents.
“On March 20, 2005 our lives became so much richer. We never could have guessed how much we would love Alivia. She was smart, funny, beautiful and sweet. She kept us laughing even through the hardest days. Alivia was diagnosed with a very rare form of leukemia on April 8, 2006 and went through more than most adults could handle. We were constantly amazed by her joy throughout her long battle. On July 6, 2007 she finally had peace. No more hurt, no more tears. She touched so many in her brief life. She will always be in our hearts and minds.”
