It’s amazing how every Ladies’ Retreat seems to get better and better.  I always anticipate these times that are purposely set aside for us to reflect on God’s faithfulness and to be filled with fresh faith for the future.  

 

I look forward to every aspect of our times away.  I love staying up late laughing with my room mates, taking long walks in the woods, swinging on the “circle of porch swings”,  praying with my close friends, or just munching on the delicious, home made cookies!  And this year, I can’t wait to see ladies dressed in their “tracksuits” on Friday and lots of green on St. Patrick’s Day!  

 

I am so grateful for the opportunity to be reminded of Who my wonderful Savior is and all that He’s done for me.  I look forward to sharing communion in my small group and remembering that Jesus paid for me in full when He died in my place on the cross.  I can’t wait to worship with the amazing ladies in the church and to hear just women singing together with hands lifted to the Lord.  And I am in anticipation of spending precious time away from the busyness of life so I can spend time alone with the Lord and hear from Him in a deeper way.
