Through its conferences, publications, and working relationships, ICTE shall promote an understanding of the importance of language arts, accept leadership for sponsoring professional improvement in English programs for Iowa schools and colleges, and accept leadership for the professional enrichment of all private and public English language arts instructors (pre-college) in Iowa.
