This a collection of photos courtesy of the famous ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden which is the original ice hotel, started in 1990. Various stages in the construction of the hotel are shown, as well as the completed bar, chapel, and main entryway. Some of the most interesting ice art is found in the Art Suites. The suites shown are from the winters of 2005-06 through 2007-08. Each suite was completed by the credited artists, who may or may not have worked with ice before working on the suite.
