Derbyshire Constabulary Rugby Football Club

 
 

Derbyshire Constabulary Rugby Union Football Club was founded in 1926 and have continued playing rugby union ever since.


The team plays friendly fixtures midweek against local clubs, universities and other police teams.


The team also enters the Police Sports UK National Cup Competition against police teams across the country. Last season, 2007-2008 they reached the National Quarters-Final stage of the competition, eventually losing to the Police Service Northern Ireland in Belfast 52-7. The team had overcome Humberside and Lothian & Borders Police to reach this stage of the competition.
