We moved in to our apartment on Thursday.  The long story will be available over telephone (if you want it).  The short story- involves a wrong apartment number, collecting of stuff, no gas or water, a filthy apartment and a midnight run to a (to quote my husband) a “flea-bag” hotel.  A hell of a weekend followed.  Things are on the right track now, Ikea delivered the mass quantity of stuff that I bought from them this morning.  You would think I would have had a blast spending money on house stuff but it was actually pretty stressful - more on that if you want too.  But Ikea said they would deliver between 10 and 2 on Monday and at 10:00 am on the dot they were here.  Luke helped his dada put his table and chairs together and he also now has a big boy bed!!  He has done remarkably well adjusting to that.  But not so well on other matters - we’ll talk.  We also now have dishes, pots and pans, towels (other than the ones we stole from the “flea-bag hotel”) and other basic stuff.  Now of we could just get the filth off of the couch and walls in our bedroom we will be set...  We’re looking into that.  And tomorrow they will install a telephone line - keep your fingers crossed.  They tried today but that is another long story.  So until tomorrow - hopefully all our contact info will be ready to send.
