Crying for wine and Term 2 finished
Luke is here crying because he can’t have any wine and that’s just about how Dada felt during the last week of exams! Yes, the 4 intensive months are finally over and they correctly named it “intensive.” It was a tough stretch and the family is glad it is over. The fall and winter terms have a much more reasonable course load and Dada as well as Mama and Luke are looking forward to that.
Luke is really starting to show his personality and his strength of will. He quite often knows what he wants now and many times it is simply “NO” to whatever you offer.
We have a week here in Barcelona before heading to Portugal for a two week vacation on July 30. We are all pretty excited for the vacation and time off this summer. Then, back to Barcelona on August 14 to do 2.5 weeks of intensive Spanish classes for Jarrod before school starts up again in mid September.
We promise to keep this up more since, hopefully we will have more time!
