How to travel
We drove from the Algarve to Evora today and Luke has the right idea about car travel (at least this time). The 2 hour jaunt to Evora was followed by lunch and a tour of the old city. Evora used to be the capital of this area in Roman times and still has some of the Roman ruins standing.
Then, off to Nazare, on the Atlantic coast in the afternoon. We arrived after dinner to a charming B&B that overlooks the town and the ocean (see photos). This place has some special extras that Luke found out the next day.
