IMPORTANT NOTE: Nearly all of the City Guide Map sheets listed below, are now out of print in India, and I now hold an ever- dwindling stock of them. When these finally sell out, I will almost certainly be unable to replace them.
Condition.
All new maps are available as folded paper sheets, and most, but not all, are in Printed card covers, and all are un-sectioned and in good condition, unless otherwise described. Some sheets (but by no means all), are also available as unfolded sheets, supplied in a cardboard tube for framing or display; please specify if you would prefer this option. Although all are theoretically new copies; many have spent up to 20 or 30 years on the shelves of Survey of India store-rooms, and now show the appropriate signs of age, especially to their card covers, though the maps themselves are in very good condition!

Current Editions of Survey of India Maps.
I offer a limited search service for individual sheets of recent editions of the Survey of India. If you require specific sheets, please let me have details and I will endeavor to obtain copies on my next trip to India; though this has become increasingly difficult.
Do however, bear in mind that all current editions of both 1:50,000 & 1:250,000 sheets which cover areas within about sixty miles or so of the borders of India, are restricted and virtually unobtainable, by anyone.
Newly introduced security Regulations by the Survey of India also make it virtually impossible for foreigners to purchase any current topographic maps from the Survey of India.
I also stock a random, and somewhat limited assortment, of Antique Survey of India sheets, mainly 1 inch and quarter inch; dating from the late 19th century through to the 1940’s. If you would like a print-out of my current list, or are looking for a specific sheet, please let me know.
