Thanks to Sheila, Al and Barbara, we wandered our way to the pictographs most of us had never seen.  Mel, DiAnn, Pat, others took photos of the rock art and Wynne took photos of the photographers!  Scott from SWRS took a group shot with his camera timer so when I get that shot, I’ll send it to Howard for the website.

Thirteen hikers and Pippy started out.  We had 4 from SWRS so our average age of a hiker was lowered for our statistics.  Mary Johnson joined us for the first time in a long time!  

We guesstimate just 3 and 1/2 miles covered but it was hot and humid and far enough for everyone except Al and Sheila  who kept going up and UP. Everything was very green.

For next week, we will meet in Rodeo west of the PO near the corner of Custie and Route 80. DiAnn will lead us to Tim’s and Mimi’s property on Owl’s Butte for a hike over there.  We’ll meet at 7 AZ since it’s so warm.  Portalites can meet at Foothills Corner about 6:45 AM AZ to carpool if they choose.
