June's Status for Oasis Clubhouse Media
The final proposal with estimated retail budget has been presented to the entire Board (actual costs will be lower), with the various implementation phases. The Board was informed that the Forward Planning Committee has recommended that the Media Proposal be the primary project, for them to work on. A recommendation to 1) accept the plan and it’s phasing as a master plan for media in the clubhouse and 2) to implement phases one and two, to fix the audio problems in the Ballroom, as soon as possible and as soon as funds are available was requested.
It was also reported to the Board that Anne Walker, Oasis Media Players is donating equipment from the list undesignated equipment phase, valued at $2008.00 to the HOA. This item is the portable public address system which can be used in any area of the Clubhouse, pool, patio, Ballroom, fitness room or any other space within the Oasis HOA and will bring immediate benefits to our residents. This donation, of course, will reduce the overall total of the project’s expense.
The suggestion, that other clubs and organization might follow suit, once the proposal is accepted as a master plan was also given.
The FPC and Oasis Media Subcommittee await the Board's response.
