This site is intended as an educational resource for professionals (sonographers, sonologists, physiotherapists, obstetricians/gynaecologists, urologists and radiologists) using diagnostic ultrasound for the investigation of patients suffering from symptoms of pelvic floor and lower urinary tract dysfunction. There also is a section for lay people, explaining the pelvic floor and pelvic floor trauma in everyday language (see ‘General info’).
