Andrea del Sarto, true name Andrea d'Agnolo di Francesco di Luca di Paolo del Migliore, (1486 - 1530), was an Italian painter from Florence, whose career flourished during the High Renaissance and Mannerism. Though regarded by his contemporaries as an artist "senza errori" (i.e., faultless), he was frequently overshadowed in fame by equally talented but more ambitious contemporaries like Raphael.
