We are the Smith’s, Michael, Jennifer, Isabella, Micah, and Aria.  We are on the ride of our lives.  I have been amazed and overwhelmed at how in the past 8 years of marriage and the past 6 years of parenting how blessed I have been by being Michael’s wife and my children’s mother.  The Lord has used all of them in VERY individual and significant ways to create me into a better, stronger person.  I would not be the woman I am today without them in my life.  It has been a fun and sometimes difficult journey, but it has been completely worth it.  There have been many paths that we have taken over the past 8 years that were never part of our initial plans, such as living in 4 different states in 8 years.  That is why we are not surprised that God has called us to take another detour in our plans and adopt a child from a foreign country.  We will be using this blog to keep all of our friends and family up to date about what is going on in our family as we journey through life.  Enjoy!!!
