Welcome to the 'Hooked on Hockey' website.

We hope you find this site easy to navigate and find it contains some interesting information. We will keep the site as up-to-date as we possibly can but would welcome your views/opinions and any feedback you would like to give.

'Hooked on Hockey' is a coaching company led by current Great British Olympian and England player Lisa Wooding & current England Under 18 & German Bundesliga Coach Simon Letchford. It employs international players and coaches to form a formidable coaching team, that not only have extensive experience in playing and coaching the game but also bring up to date tactics and technical elements.

Both Simon and Lisa have recently moved to Germany to expand both their hockey coaching and playing experiences. This is a very exciting time for them both. Hooked on Hockey will still continue to run their hockey courses in the UK and can still provide the following:

•Session plans for any age, level, and length of coaching block.

   •Coaching for schools, clubs & individuals on a completely flexible service.

•Hockey camps for all ages and abilities both indoors and outdoors during the school holidays.

•Hi-tech video analysis of individuals and teams using the latest software from SPORTSEC such as Gamebreaker and Sportscode.

•A Level Presentations/interactive seminars covering syllabus elements such as;

•Goal setting, motivation & mental preparation

•Sport psychology

•Components of fitness & fitness training principles and methods

•Injury prevention; role of the coach

•Policy, provision and administration of sport & the pursuit of excellence

•Critical self-analysis.

•Anti Doping Lectures (Lisa is the hockey representative for the UK Sport run anti doping programme 100%ME).
