Rags to Riches
okay, I confess - I’m stuck in bridal-hell.
Here’s a little tidbit to tide you over until I can get my knitblog act together.
don’t worry ... there’s plenty of other knitting going on ...
... but here’s what I was working on before I dropped off the face of the blogosphere. It’s a “rag” rug, a la Mason-Dixon Knitting, except instead of all that tedious rag-yarn-making, I used Rowan’s R2 Rag! Pre-ragged! And also a bit o’ Lana Grossa Benduccia I scored off elann.com. Bands are stitched together with Sugar & Cream.
I plan on making several more bands and already have all the maths configured to get it to make those absolutely perfect-and-flat rounds on the ends, but of course first I must-must-must finish my I Do Shrug. ya know, for the big day. cuz that’s an immovable deadline. and I promised Momma Bee I would not be up till 4:30 am the night before, desperately weaving in ends ...
