A “Tit”-torial
UPDATE 9/1/09: Digital downloads of Yarn Forward Magazine Issues #15 & 16 are now available through Yudu. And if you fall in love with YF (as I have!), they have digital subscriptions, too!
UPDATE 7/25/09: It’s been published!!! You can find my Bust-Dart Tutorial in Yarn Forward Magazine, Issues #15 & 16 (Parts 1 & 2 respectively). Issue 15 has hit the US newsstands this week; Issue 16 is out in the UK and should hit US newsstands in August. Sometime next week YF will offer the issues as digital downloads and as soon as they do, I’ll include a link here.

Okay, I finally did it. Instead of reading everybody else’s incomplete or inaccurate article or blog entry, instead of stomping into threads and sounding off and yammering on-and-on about it, instead of pouting and whining and fuming ... I sat down and did it.
I have written, illustrated, and officially posted my Overly Comprehensive Tutorial on Everything Bust-Darts. It is, truthfully, everything you ever wanted to know about bust-darts and were afraid someone would actually tell you. Especially someone with all the “know-it-all” attitude that thirty-six years of knitting experience can implant.
Hey, even the experts (lil bee-tongue firmly planted in cheek) make mistakes every now and then, so if I did, please let me know. Also, shoot me an email if you think something could be clearer. Or if (goddess-forbid!) I forgot something.
Otherwise, enjoy. And please, please, pretty-please-with-sugar-on-top ...
... please stop calling them “short-rows.”
