By much juggling of rosters and budgets, we managed to fit in some climbing trips in 2007 to train for Cho Oyu. We started off in New Zealand in February. Sandy did her Technical Climbing Course with Alpine Guides and I climbed Mt Aspiring with Aspiring Guides. From there we went to Nepal to climb Island Peak and retrace the footsteps of where we met. In May we went to visit Sandy’s family and did a spring climb of Mt Fuji.
