Hovig’s interest in show business began in the theater.  Studying acting from a young age he got a taste of directing in High School. Continuing his studies at Pasadena City College Hovig found his way into film classes.

After working in production Hovig decided to further his education and was accepted to the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA.  During his time at Art Center he discovered his true skill and joy laid in editing. Hovig worked on a variety of projects from commercials to short films, including the Cannes winning “Prelude #2.”

Hovig currently works as an assistant/Junior editor at a post house in Santa Monica, CA, where he has worked on commercials, music videos and films.  Hovig also works as a freelance editor, cutting a range of different projects.
