A Creative Arts Therapist in New York is an individual who has at least Master’s level education in a Creative Arts Modality (Art, Dance, Drama, Music, Poetry), has fulfilled required hours of Supervised Professional experience in their field, and completed State and National requirements for practice. New York State requires a License in Creative Arts Therapy (LCAT) to practice.
