HI INTENSITY MAKES A BIG HIT AT THE NJCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT

West Plains, Missouri November 18-20, 2010

HI Intensity’s 2006-2009 members Ku’ulei Kabalis and Honu Singlehurst played off for the NJCAA Div I National Championships in West Plains, Missouri.  The face off between Ku’ulei’s team, Western Nebraska, and Honu’s, San Jacinto College, ended in a 5 gamer with Western Nebraska taking the 2010 National Championships.  Congratulations to Ku’ulei Kabalis for earning All-Tournament Team honors as Libero.  HI Intensity’s 2009-2010 member Kelly Leopoldo, of Eastern Arizona lead her team to an 8th place finish at the National Championships.  Kelly has lead her team to a successful season, setting a 5-1 offense, and knocking out regional rival to make it to the National Championships.  HI Intensity’s 2008-2009 member  Kaylee Ponce, of North Idaho College guided her team to a 5th place finish at the National Championships by defeating the number one ranked powerhouse Miami Dade College.
