I got to see Slim Cessna’s Auto Club last week. They were amazing! If church was like that I’d go all the time. The Auto Club is sort of a gospel - country, roots - rock bar band. They played for about an hour and a half and were better than I imagined they would be. It was such a good show that I think even if you’re not normally into this type of music, you’d like it. The interactions between Slim Cessna and Jay Munly made the show. It’s no wonder that Jello Biafra digs them and signed them to Alternative Tentacles.
