2nd Grade Book Club

not only reading a good book, but a book club to go with it as a chance to get together w/ friends & socialize & talk about a book they are all reading simultaneously. This gave her the idea to do the same w/ her class; after reading “Mrs. Piggle Wiggle” by author Betty McDonald, 2nd graders socialized over lunch & chatted about the book at Russell’s Bakery next door to the school - Hey, if reading’s always this fun, count me in!
