本当に必要なものって何？／What do you really need?
(マルコ／Mark 2:1-12)

交差点／A crossroad：決断の場所／ A place of decision.

こういう風に考えよう／More specifically:
人生の交差点は「真理に出会う瞬間」にやって来る。その「真理に基づいて新しい方向に行く決断をする」か、その「真理を無視して決断しそのまま行く」かを決める時のことである。
A crossroad is a point in time when you meet truth. Based on that truth, you either choose to go in a new direction or keep going in the same direction.

A) 切実に感じられる必要は、もっとも深い必要ではない。
　Often, our felt need is not our deepest need
B) 差し迫った必要は、最も重要な必要ではない。
　Often, our pressing need is not our most important need.
C) 私たちが一番欲しいものと一番必要なものは違う
　Often, the thing we want the most is not what we need the most.

私たちの「必要」リスト／Our list of important needs
1. 健康／Health.
2. お金／Money.
3. 人生のパートナー／Companionship.
4. 人生をコントロールできる力／Be in control.

このリストの中に入って来ないものは「赦し」。
What never appears on our list of needs is forgiveness.

赦し／Forgiveness
自分と神様の間の大きく隔てるバリアーを永遠に除去すること
removal of the huge barrier that exists between you and God, forever.

私たちのもっとも緊急な必要は「父なる神様との関係」である。
Our most urgent need is relationship with our heavenly father.

第２コリント/ 2 Corinthians 5:16-21; 6:14-7:1

1.私たちはクリスチャンとして、この世の人々を二つに分けて見る必要がある。
As Christians, we need to see people in two basic categories.

キリストを知っている人々とキリストを知らない人々
People who know Christ, and people who don't know Christ.

a. クリスチャンの人は私たちの家族となりました。
For those who are Christians, they are our family now.

b. クリスチャンでない人々に対しては、私たちはキリストの使節として接する必要があります。
For those who are not Christians, we are to act as Christ's ambassadors to them.

コリントⅡ/2 Corinthians 5:20-21 (新改訳／NIV)

和解：敵であった二人を友とすること。
Reconciliation: Bringing together two people who were enemies, and making them friends.

2. 注意：つり合わないくびきをいっしょにつけてはいけません。
A warning: Do not be unequally yoked.

14 不信者と、つり合わぬくびきをいっしょにつけてはいけません。正義と不法とに、どんなつながりがあるでしょう。光と暗やみとに、どんな交わりがあるでしょう。
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what to fellowship can light have with darkness?

a)つりあわぬくびきをいっしょにつけるということは、彼らの人生があなたにも影響し、あなたとキリストの関係にも影響する関係にとどまるということです。
To be unequally yoked means to be in a relationship with a person where their life influences yours, and your relationship with Christ..

b)あなたと不信者との関係について鍵（カギ）となる質問：
A key question to ask about your relationships with non-Christians:
「誰が誰に影響を与えていますか？」／"Who is influencing who?”

3. 神の民として私たちはどうあるべきだろうか？
So as God's people, what do we do?

a. あなたと神の関係を遠ざける人と距離を置く。
Put some distance between yourself and those who are pulling you away from God.

b.あなたを神から遠ざける力を持つ親しい関係を作らない。
Don't form close relationships that have the potential to pull you away from Christ.

c. 周りのクリスチャンと親しい関係を結ぶ。
Do tie yourself in close relationships with other Christians.

アブラハム、割礼をする／First circumcision

ローマ／Romans 2:28-29 (新改訳／NIV)
28 外見上のユダヤ人がユダヤ人なのではなく、外見上のからだの割礼が割礼なのではありません。29かえって人目に隠れたユダヤ人がユダヤ人であり、文字ではなく、御霊による、心の割礼こそ割礼です。
28 A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical.

この世のオトナとしてのお約束と常識／2 major worldly rules for adults

1) おせっかいは焼かない。／Mind your own business.

2) 誰かが間違った決断をしようとしているなら、その人のことについて他の人と話しするけど、
その人には話さない。
When you see a friend making a bad decision, talk about them, not to them.

ヘブル／Hebrew 3:12-13(新改訳／NIV)
12兄弟たち。あなたがたの中では、だれも悪い不信仰の心になって生ける神から離れる者がないように

1. 神の言葉に関する知識と理解を深める
Increasing your knowledge and understanding of God's word

2. 罪の頻度と深さを減らす
Decreasing your frequency and severity of sin

3. キリストの品性を実践する機会を増やす
Increasing your practice of Christ-like qualities

4. 神に対する信仰／信頼を深める
Increasing your faith and trust in God

霊的成長＝徐々にキリストの品性を身につけていくこと
Spiritual maturity = becoming more like Jesus Christ

どうすれば霊的に成長できるだろう？
How can I grow and become spiritually mature?

箴言／Proverbs 13:20 (新改訳／NIV)
知恵のある者とともに歩む者は知恵を得る。愚かな者の友となる者は害を受ける。
He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.

愚か者＝善悪の違いを知りながらも、それに注意を払わない人
A fool = a person who knows the difference between right and wrong, but doesn’t care.

友が人生の方向性とクオリティーを決定する。
Your friends will determine the direction and quality of your life.

霊的成熟を目的とした人間関係に入ることによって、霊的に成長する。
You can grow spiritually by entering into purposeful relationships.

「聖なる」とは：言葉に言い表せないほどまわりのものとは徹底的に違う
“Holy” means to be “indescribably different from what is seen by men”.

信頼に足る人となるには？／3 commitments to make to build up a culture of trustworthiness

1) 私は自分がすると言ったことをしっかりするつもりです。もししないなら、あなたに話しします。
I commit to do what I say I will do and when I don’t I will tell you.

2) 私は大げさに約束したり、約束したことしないということをしません。でももし状況がそっちの方にすすん
でいるなあと思ったら、必ずあなたに話しします。
I commit to not over promise or under deliver. But, if it looks like that’s where things are headed, I will tell you.

3) あなたがもし私のところに来て、私が生み出したギャップについて話しするなら、私は真実を話します。
If you confront me about the gap I have created, I will tell you the truth.

私たちはなぜか神様に選ばれ、大切な事業をまかされた不完全な人間のあつまりです。
その事業の成功のカギは私たちの完全さではありません。間違いやマズい決断は乗り越えることができます。
でも「信頼」を避けて通ろうとする文化を乗り越える事はできません。
We are a group of imperfect people who were somehow chosen by God for a very important enterprise. Our
success does not depend on our perfection. We can survive mistakes. We can survive bad decision.
But we can NOT survive a culture that is void of trust.

信頼：その人のベストを信じること
Trust : believing the best of the person in your community

1) 「多分そうしてもらえるだろう」と実際の現実との間には必ずギャップがある。
There will always be a gap between what we expect people to do and what they actually do.

2) そのギャップを何でうめるかは、わたしたちの選択である。そのギャップを埋めるものは、「信頼」か「疑い」のどちらかである。
We choose what we place in the gap. We can choose to fill the gap with trust or suspicion.

恵みとは、たとえその人が何かを受けるのにその何か
を与えること。
Grace is giving to another person something they don't .

今日の真実：恵みはなものです。

良い人になってもらう以上に
God isn't interested in making you "good"
（マルコ／Mark 3:1-6）

今日の真理／Today's truth:

神様が追い求めておられることは私達を、”イイ人”にすることではなく、
「豊かで完全な人」とすることです。
God is not so interested in making you "good." God's interested in making you whole.

神様は「ルールを守る人」を求めておられない。
私達に「豊かで完全」な人生を与えたいと思っておられる。
God isn't interested in just making us a bunch of rule keepers.
He's interested in giving us a life that's full and complete.

マルコ／Mark 3:1-6 (新改訳／NIV)
1 イエスはまた会堂に入られた。そこに片手のなえた人がいた。2 彼らは、イエスが安息日にその人を直すかどうか、じっと見ていた。イエスを訴えるためであった。3 イエスは手のなえたその人に「立って真ん中に出なさい」と言われた。4 それから彼らに、「安息日にしてよいのは、善を行うことなのか、それとも悪を行うことなのか。いのちを救うことなのか、それとも殺すことなのか」と言われた。彼らは黙っていた。5 イエスは怒って彼らを見回し、その心のかたくななのを嘆きながら、その人に、「手を伸ばしなさい」と言われた。彼は手を伸ばした。するとその手が元どおりになった。6 そこでパリサイ人たちは出て行って、すぐにヘロデ党の者たちといっしょになって、イエスをどのようにして葬り去ろうかと相談を始めた。
1 Another time he went into the synagogue, and a man with a shriveled hand was there. 2 Some of them were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched him closely to see if he would heal him on the Sabbath. 3 Jesus said to the man with the shriveled hand, "Stand up in front of everyone." 4 Then Jesus asked them, "Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?" But they remained silent. 5 He looked around at them in anger and, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts, said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." He stretched it out, and his hand was completely restored. 6 Then the Pharisees went out and began to plot with the Herodians how they might kill Jesus.

それってどういうこと？／What does this mean for us as Christians?

キリスト教をルールで固められたシステムとしての宗教にしないようにする。
そうしてしまう２つの問題が起こる。
Be careful about making Christianity a system of rules.
When we do this, two things tend to happen.

a) 恵みの使者からサタンの使者になってしまう。
It turns us from agents of grace into agents of Satan.

b) 失敗した時に取り返しがつかないと自分を責める。
We tend to get down on ourselves when we fail.

覚えておくべき２つのこと／Things to remember about Christianity:

1. イエス様は命を与えるために来て下さった。／Jesus came to give us life.

ヨハネ／John 10:10 (NIV)
盗人が来るのは、ただ盗んだり、殺したり、滅ぼしたりするだけのためです。わたしが来たのは、羊がいのちを得、またそれを豊かに持つためです。
The thief only comes to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

2. クリスチャンであるとは「イイ人」ではなく、「豊かで完全」な人格に変えられていくことである。
Becoming a Christian has nothing to do with becoming a "good" person. It has everything to do with becoming whole and complete.

神様に対する思い込み（ヨハネ９章）／God in a Box (John 9)

クロスロード／交差点：私達が新しい真理を知る時間的ポイント。
人間は、その新しい真理に基づいて、新しい方向に行くか、そのままの方向で行くかを選ぶ。
A crossroad is a point in time when you learn new truth.
Based on that new truth, you choose to go in a new direction, or keep going in the same direction.

新しい真理によって、私達は現実を捉え直す。時によって、現実が厳しすぎて、逃げ出したくなる
New truth forces us to reconsider reality. Sometimes reality hurts and we want to run away.

今日の真理：何かを信じるために、そのすべてを理解する必要はない。
Today’s truth: You don’t need to understand everything to believe in something.

1-3　どうして悪いことが起こるの？「それは、神様の御業が現されるためです。」
Why do bad things happen? “So that the work of God might be displayed.”

4-5　イエス様のびっくりの一言：「わたしは世の光です！」
Jesus made an outrageous statement: “I am the light of the world!”

6-12　偉大な奇跡があっても、周りの人は信じなかった。
A great miracle, but the neighbors didn’t believe it.

13-17　パリサイ人たちは自分たちの神様に対する理解にもとづいてその奇跡を説明できなかった。
The Pharisees couldn’t explain the miracle based on their expectations of God.

なぜなら、もうすでに神様に対する勝手な思い込みをもっていたから。
They had put God in a box.

18-34
否定できない圧倒的な現実を見るより、説明できない／信じれないことに着目した。
Rather than looking at the undeniable, they focused on the unbelievable.

9:35-41
その男は「主よ、信じます。」と言った。
The man said, “Lord, I believe.”

ヨハネ / John 3:1-21

クロスロード：決断の場所 / A crossroad: A place of decision.

もっと具体的に言うと：クロスロードは私達が新しい真理を知る時間的なポイントです。その新しい真理に基づいて、新しい方向に行くか、そのままの方法で行くかを選びます。
More specifically: A crossroad is a point in time when you learn new truth. Based on that new truth, you choose to go in a new direction, or keep going in the same direction.

新しい真理は、暗闇に慣れている目に突然差し込む明るい光のようなものです。
New truth is like a sudden bright light when your eyes have become used to the darkness.

今日の真理：善良な人が天国に行くのではありません。
Today’s new truth: Good people don’t go to heaven.

ヨハネ / John 3:1-2

ニコデモは、神様に関して自分が信じてきたことにイエス様がどのようにハマるのか
知りたかった。
Nicodemus wanted to know how Jesus fit into his beliefs about God.

ヨハネ / John 3:3-9

イエス様は彼の質問に答えられた。ニコデモが実際に質問する前に、予期しない方法で。

「あなたは、生まれ変わらなければならない」

Jesus answered his question, but before Nicodemus asked it and in a way he didn’t expect.

“You must be born again”.

ヨハネ / John 3:10-15

イエス様を信頼する人はみな永遠の命を受ける。
Everyone who believes in Jesus will have eternal life.

　　　　　　善良な人が天国に行くのではなく、赦された人が天国に行く。
Good people don’t go to heaven, only forgiven people go to heaven.

ヨハネ / John 3:16

今の人生で良いことをすることで永遠の行き先は決めることができない。
Doing good things in this life has no effect on your eternal destination.

しかし、良いことをすることは現在の人生の成功に大きな影響を与える。
However, doing good things has a huge effect on your success in this present life.

「隠れた小道」／“Hidden Pathway”

原則／Principle
神様に近づきたいなら、神様が私達の人生に送られた人たちに歩み寄る。
もし和解していない関係があれば、それが神様に近づく障壁になる。
If you want to draw near to God, then draw near to people God has put in your life.
You can’t draw near to God if there is an unreconciled relationship.

マタイ／Matthew 5:23-24 (新改訳／NIV)
23 だから、祭壇の上に供え物をささげようとしているとき、
もし兄弟に恨まれていることをそこで思い出したなら、
24 供え物はそこに、祭壇の前に置いたままにして、
出て行って、まずあなたの兄弟と仲直りをしなさい。
それから、来て、その供え物をささげなさい。
23 Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar
and there remember that your brother has something against you,
24 leave your gift there in front of the altar.
First go and be reconciled to your brother;

傲慢さ／プライド／Pride

じゃあ、どうすればいいの？Then what shall we do?

もしあなたが傷つけられた立場なら／If you are the person who were hurt by someone.

１）何を奪われたかを明確にする。／Calculate how much of what was stolen of you

２）「あなたは私にもう何も返さなくていい」と言う。／Say “You don’t owe me any more”

もしあなたが傷つけた立場なら／If you are the person who you think offended someone.

謝罪の手紙や電話、実際にその人のところに行って、できる限り返す。
Write an email of apology, make a phone call or literally go to the person and pay back as much as you can.

「神は、高ぶる者を退け、へりくだる者に恵みをお授けになる。」
God is opposed to the proud but gives grace to the humble.

「祈りの小道」／“Prayer pathway”

祈りは神様のご好意を勝ち取る修行ではなく、神様に近づく小道である。
Prayer is not a discipline to win God’s favor but a pathway through which we draw near to God.

マタイ／Matthew 6:5-13 (新改訳／NIV)
5また、祈るときには、偽善者たちのようであってはいけません。彼らは、人に見られたくて会堂や通りの四つ角に立って祈るのが好きだからです。まことに、あなたがたに告げます。彼らはすでに自分の報いを受け取っているのです。6あなたは、祈るときには自分の奥まった部屋に入りなさい。そして、戸をしめて、隠れた所におられるあなたの父に祈りなさい。そうすれば、隠れた所で見ておられるあなたの父が、あなたに報いてくださいます。7また、祈るとき、異邦人のように同じことばを、ただくり返してはいけません。彼らはことば数が多ければ聞かれると思っているのです。8だから、彼らのまねをしてはいけません。あなたがたの父なる神は、あなたがたがお願いする先に、あなたがたに必要なものを知っておられるからです。

1) 隠れた所で祈る。／Pray privately.

2) 言葉遣いに気を取られない。／Don't hang up on how.

3) 神様は私達が祈る内容を知っておられ、その答えもあらかじめ決めておられると理解する。
Know that He already knows what we pray about and determines what he is going to do with it.

祈りは神様の考えを変えるためではなく、私達を変えていただくためにするものである。
Prayer is not about changing God’s mind but about God changing us.

4) 祈りの中で２つのことを表現する／Express 2 things in your prayer.

a) 神様の御心に服従する／Our submission to God's will.

b) 神様が必要を満たして下さると信頼する。／Our dependence on his provision.

真理の小道／Truth Pathways

ヨハネ／John 4:19-24

神様にとって、礼拝のためのルールは重要ではありません。神様が重要視されるのは、あなたが霊とまことによって神様を礼拝しているかどうかです。
Rules for worship are not important to God. What matters to him is that you worship him in spirit and in truth. (ヨハネ／John 4:23-24)

霊によって神様を礼拝するということは、私たちの内側から湧き出る礼拝の態度のことであって、外見だけそれらしく振る舞うことではありません。
To worship God in spirit means to worship him from within, not just from without.

まことによって神様を礼拝するということは：
To worship God in truth means:

1. 神様がご自身をどういう方であるか語られていることを受け入れる。
To accept God for who he says he is.

2. 神様の真実に慣れ親しむ／To be friends with God's truth.

神様の御言葉に興味を持つためのコツとアイデア
Tips and ideas for getting into God's Word..

1. 快適な読書の場所を見つける／Find a place comfortable for you to read.

2. .読書に適した頭の冴えている時間を見つける／Find a time to read when you're awake and alert.

3. 聖書通読プラン、デボーションガイドを用いてみましょう。聖書の一つの「書」や登場人物ごとに読んで見ましょう。Use a Bible reading plan, use a devotional, read a book in the Bible, or read about a character in the Bible.

4. 聖書を大きな声を出して読んでみましょう。／Try reading the Bible out loud.

5. 録音聖書を聞いてみましょう。／Listen to Bible CDs.

ヘブル／Hebrew 10:19-22 (新改訳／NIV)

神は一人。神へ至る道も一つ。それはイエス・キリストを通して。
しかし、神様に愛を表現する方法は無数にある。
クリスチャンとして自分なりの神様への愛の表現を求めてもかまわない。
There is only one God. There is only one way to God. That is through Jesus Christ.
But there are multiple ways of expressing “I love you” to God. You can be yourself as a Christian.

1) 周りのクリスチャンを裁き始める。／We would become judgmental.

2) クリスチャンとして尊敬する人の方法をマネしようとして失敗し、失格者の気分を味わう。
We would imitate the way the ones we respect take, fail and feel disqualified.

神に近づく９つの小道／9 pathways to draw near to God

1) 自然派：自然を通して／Naturalists : through nature.

2) 五感派 : 五感で得れる感覚を通して／Sensates : through senses

3) 伝統派：伝統的な儀式やシンボルを通して／Traditionalists: through rituals and symbols

4) 静けさ派：簡素なセッティングで一人の時間を通して／Ascetics: through solitude and simplicity

5) 社会活動派：社会活動を通して／Activists : through bringing about social change

6) お世話派：他の人に仕え、ケアすることを通して／Caregivers: through caring for and serving others

7) 情熱派：神様を祝うことを通して／Enthusiasts: through celebration

「イエス様の最後の一週間」／“His final week”
「ってことは、全部本当ってこと？」／“Everything he said can be true…”

ルカ／Luke 23:50-24:12 (新改訳／NIV)　
50 さてここに、ヨセフという、議員のひとりで、りっぱな、正しい人がいた。51 この人は議員たちの計画や行動には同意しなかった。彼は、アリマタヤというユダヤ人の町の人で、神の国を待ち望んでいた。52 この人が、ピラトのところに行って、イエスのからだの下げ渡しを願った。53 それから、イエスを取り降ろして、亜麻布で包み、そして、まだだれをも葬ったことのない、岩に掘られた墓にイエスを納めた。54 この日は準備の日で、もう安息日が始まろうとしていた。55 ガリラヤからイエスといっしょに出て来た女たちは、ヨセフについて行って、墓と、イエスのからだの納められる様子を見届けた。56 そして、戻って来て、香料と香油を用意した。安息日には、戒めに従って、休んだが、

1) イエス様に関して考えを変える。（悔い改め）
Change our mind about who Jesus is. (Repentance)

2) イエス様を救い主、また主であると公表する。（バプテスマ）
Publicly declare that Jesus is Christ and the Lord. (Be baptized)

3) 罪赦されたことを最大限に生かす。（イエス様に従う）
Take advantage of forgiveness of our sins (Follow Jesus)

1 Early in the morning, all the chief priests and the elders of the people came to the decision to put Jesus to death. 2 They bound him, led him away and handed him over to Pilate, the governor. 3 When Judas, who had betrayed him, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was seized with remorse and returned the thirty silver coins to the chief priests and the elders. 4 “I have sinned,” he said, “for I have betrayed innocent blood.” “What is that to us?” they replied. “That’s your responsibility.” 5 So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself.

45   Then he returned to the disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour is near, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. 46 Rise, let us go! Here comes my betrayer!”

祈りは、自分の意志を神様の意志に服従させていくプロセスである。
Prayer is a process of submitting your will under God’s will.

祈りのプロセス／Prayer process

1) 「神様、もっといい方法があるんですけど．．．」から始める。
Start with “Father, I have a better idea.”

2) テンションを感じる。戦いを経験する。
Feel the tension. Experience the battle.

3) 「あなたの御心がなされますように。」と心から言えるまで、祈り続ける。
Keep praying until you can say “let your will be done.”

4) わかっているだけの正しいことをする。
Obey what is already revealed to you.

信仰とは、神様にすべての祈りに答えてもらえるようになることではなく、
答えられない祈りをかかえながらも、神様に従っていくこと。
Faith is not all about having all the prayer answered.
It’s about holding unanswered prayer but still following God.

思慮（知恵）のある人／The prudent (the wise):

2 夕食の間のことであった。悪魔はすでにシモンの子イスカリオテ・ユダの心に、イエスを売ろうとする思いを入れていたが、3 イエスは、父が万物を自分の手に渡されたことと、ご自分が神から出て神に行くことを知られ、4 夕食の席から立ち上がって、上着を脱ぎ、手ぬぐいを取って腰にまとわれた。5 それから、たらいに水を入れ、弟子たちの足を洗って、腰にまとっておられる手ぬぐいで、ふき始められた。
2   The evening meal was being served, and the devil had already prompted Judas Iscariot, son of Simon, to betray Jesus. 3 Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; 4 so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. 5 After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.

12   When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them. 13 “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. 14 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. 15 I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you……..17 Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them. (Serve each other.)
