Welcome to our website! We are Hoarfrost River Huskies Ltd., a northern business, owned and operated by the Olesen family — Dave and Kristen, and our daughters Annika and Liv. We are based at our wilderness homestead 165 mile/266 kilometres northeast of Yellowknife, at the northeast tip of Great Slave Lake, in the Northwest Territories of Canada. We have lived here since 1987. This is the takeoff point for both facets of our business — the contract and charter air service with the Aviat Husky and the Found Bush Hawk, and the dogteam expeditions with our four legged huskies.
