The members of our explorer post (Matt Krocke, Steve LiVoti and Chris Pritchard) accompanied by advisors (Scott & Sharon Pritchard) enjoyed a great weekend at the NYS Fire Academy at Montour Falls. The explorers trained along side approx. 100 explorers from throughout the state. They trained in many different stations including - ladders, SCBA, backboarding and extinguishers. There were a few competitions among the groups and I think a few of our guys scored pretty well, ask them to see how they did. Special THANKS go to all the NYS Fire Instructors from throughout the state that donated their time to instruct each of the courses.
