Nope, we don’t know exactly where she got it, or why now, when this girl spends so much time in the woods, that she should suddenly have so bad a reaction, but here it is.  Bad enough to stay home from school.  

There are plenty of backlogged blog entries to be done, since my work schedule has increased (!) since Rowan began first grade.  However, Rachael’s trouble rated a special emergency entry, so all the people who care about her can hold her in their thoughts.  The child is miserable, and yet has the grace to feel compassion for children with permanent problems like this, with burn scars or some such.  “Poor kids, at least mine will go away soon, I hope!”
