London and Paris may 27

Memories from a small corner of the world...

What follows are memories of my trip to London and Paris from May 2007. While the exchange rate from dollars to pounds to euros was- and continues to be- horrendous, I hope you find these pictures to be as worthy as they are to me. Paris was amazing and there is so much more to see. While London was a city I really fell in love with. For all it’s congestion and grim it’s a city that’s alive. One minute you can be shoulder to shoulder with the locals racing around the tube the next you’re standing in the middle of Hyde Park listening to the birds sing, children playing while you enjoy a picnic under an old oak tree.

While it’s taken me 30-some-odd years to see these two great cities, all of these memories come courtesy of one person; my mom Judy. The most amazing mom ever. This trip is dedicated to her as will all the rest. Thanks Mom! I Love You and Miss You each and every day. --- Heather
